Annabelle Acres is a family operated Labrador Retriever adoption organization. We identify specific Labrador Retrievers to bring into Annabelle Acres. While the dogs stay at Annabelle Acres, we concentrate on weight management, anxiety reduction through exercise and rest, socialization experiences, and lots of LOVE. We want our labs to act like labs again. Once we feel our labs are ready for the companionship of a family, we search for prospective adopters that best fit the dog's behaviors and capabilities. Our family has always owned Labrador Retrievers. In 2016, we lost our lovely Annabelle (above - last picture taken of her) to intestinal cancer at the young age of seven. It broke our hearts when Annabelle left us, and we vowed never to have just one Lab ever again. We now have five family labs - Harper, Lucy, Millie, and our two rescue l
Our family has always owned Labrador Retrievers. In 2016, we lost our lovely Annabelle (above - last picture taken of her) to intestinal cancer at the young age of seven. It broke our hearts when Annabelle left us, and we vowed never to have just one Lab ever again. We now have five family labs - Harper, Lucy, Millie, and our two rescue labs, Judy and Howie. We had unforgettable puppy experiences with Harper, Lucy, and Millie with our young children years ago. We also have enjoyed visiting humane societies and rescue organizations searching for that Lab that needs our love. Our unconditional love for Labrador Retrievers and heartbreak of saying goodbye to Annabelle, drove us to establish Annabelle Acres. We hope our passion facilitates memorable experiences with our adoptable labs and families in our local communities.

We provide the best care available and only premium supplies from local family run businesses. Our organization operates solely on donations we receive through this website. For every $4 we spend out of our p
Annabelle Acres is a family-owned all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit Labrador Retriever adoption organization in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. We provide the best care available and only premium supplies from local family run businesses. Our organization operates solely on donations we receive through this website. For every $4 we spend out of our pockets, we only receive back $1 through adoption fees and donations. Our monthly expenses include but not limited to 400+ pounds of dog food, multiple trips to the veterinarian, kennel and grooming supplies, and of course, dog bones.
